President’s Welcome
I welcome you to the Southwest Illinois chapter’s website. My name is “D” and I am proud to be a Charter Member and current President of this chapter. We have a wonderful group of Members and Associates who love nothing more than riding and socializing with Buffalo Soldiers. It is our mission to do good things in our communities and set a positive example as role models for our youth. This year we will be offering our third scholarship to a local area High School graduating Senior. We will continue our involvement with the Rev. Doriss Davis Homeless Shelter and their Christmas program and have participated as Race Marshalls in Paraquad’s annual “Roll & Race” 5K race for the disabled. Paraquad is a private 501(c)(3), not-for-profit with a mission to empower people with disabilities to increase their independence through choice and opportunity. We believe in helping tomorrow’s leaders today.
We look forward to staying active in the community and taking as many rides as possible to visit our extended family of Buffalo Soldiers.
