The SWIL Soldiers will be headed east on 28 May for the Buffalo Soldiers Rally held in Washington DC. The itinerary is as follows:
Friday – 28 May – Depart SWIL for Morgantown, WV (Best Western Mountaineer Inn $79.00)
Saturday – 29 May – Depart Morgantown, WV for Washington, DC (Quality Inn, Camp Springs, MD $99.00)
Saturday – 29 May – 7th Annual Jazz & Music Festival/Picnic 12 – 6 PM (Lamont’s Entertainment Complex, 4400 Livingston Rd. Pomonkey, MD $25)
Sunday – 30 May – BUFFALO THUNDER PARADE – Rally at 8AM at Sears parking lot (Old Landover Mall, Landover, MD African American Civil War Memorial in DC ceremony at 10:30AM (Ckeck out of motel in AM)
Sunday - 30 May – Depart Washington, DC for NYC-area (Hotel TBD)
Monday – 31 May – Traveling NYC area
Tuseday - 1 Jun – Depart NYC area for Columbus, OH
Wednesday – 2 Jun – Depart Columbus, OH for home.
