General Barbara Faulkenberry’s Pin On Ceremony – Nov 2007

The Southwest IL Buffalo Soldiers MC were invited as Special Guests to attend the pin-on ceremony of US Air Force Brigadier General Barbara Faulkenberry.  The event took place on Scott Air Force Base at the Combined Club.  At the time,Gen Faulkenberry was the Deputy Director of Strategic Plans, Requirements and Programs, Headquarters Air Mobility Command, Scott AFB, Ill. She is now the Commander, 15th Expeditionary Mobility Task Force, Travis Air Force Base, Calif.  She also serves as the designated Director of Mobility Forces for Korea.  She is responsible for the 615th Contingency Response Wing and the 515th Air Mobility Operations Wing, as well as personnel stationed at 20 locations throughout the United States, the Pacific and Asia.

We salute General Faulkenberry and congratulate her on this significant accomplishment.  We also thank her for allowing the Southwest IL chapter to participate.
