2011 SWIL Polar Bear Ride – 1 Jan 2011

First off, and rightfully so, I selected this music as a tribute to Teena Marie, AKA “The Ivory Queen Of Soul, “AKA  ”Lady T.  We lost her the day after Christmas, 26 Dec 2010 at 54 years of age.  She will be missed.

 ”We did it again.  When we learn.  We got together with our family over in the Saint Louis Chapter, got on that iron in 20 degree weather and did our annual Polar Bear Ride.  We rode up to Alton, IL to spend some good times at Fast Eddies Bon Air.   As ywitnessed by the pictures, we have a good time as usual enjoying each other’s company.  Fast Eddies had a crowd like always and folks hung out outdoors in their heated party patio.  The band and the food was nice.  Sorry that I forgot to take pictures of the bikes.  I don’t think too good when it’s cold outside.  Shucks.  We did have 17 fools oops, I mean brave souls (that’s better) on their bikes and 3 others in their cages.  Everyone knows WE RIDE REGARDLESS!
