The SWIL Soldiers jumped in the cage for this trip but one Soldier felt that he HAD to ride his iron horse. “Teach”, one of our newest members decided that he was going to ride that bike come hell or high water. Luckily neither came and he had a safe trip there and back. We had a wonderful time, hosted by the Chicago Troopers. They had some good entertainment. The fashion show was on point and the bands kept everyone moving Friday night. Saturday morning we attended the Great Lakes Frontier Meeting and later on that night we attended the Black Tie event and we had a wonderful time. Everyone was dressed to the nines. We got to see our ladies in all their finery. We all had a great time.

Buffalo Soldier’s Credo

I am a Buffalo Soldier, and as a Buffalo Soldier I will uphold the standards and traditions set forth by my chapter and the National Association of Buffalo Soldiers and Troopers Motorcycle Clubs. I am proud of my colors and the rich history that they represent. I will wear my colors with pride and will do all within my power to educate the general public about the rich history of the 9th and 10th Cavalry Buffalo Soldiers. I respect my colors and my Buffalo Soldiers Sisters and Brothers, and when my riding days come to an end, I wish to be remembered as one who served with dignity, as a responsible biker, and a proud Buffalo Soldier.
